Mumbai, May 15: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday filed a 400-page chargesheet against arrested IPS officer Saji Mohan and two others for their alleged involvement in narcotics trading.
Copy of the chargesheet would be given to the accused on May 26 when they will be produced before a special NDPS court here, which is hearing the case.
The three accused — Mohan, businessman Vicky Oberoi and police constable Rajesh
Kumar Kantharia — have been charged under the NDPS Act for possession of drugs and
conspiracy.
Mohan, a former zonal director with the Narcotics Control Bureau in Chandigarh, was
arrested on January 25 for possession of 12 kilograms of heroin allegedly smuggled
from across the border. — PTI
