Cameron attacks Brown on unemployment

Leader of Britain's Conservative Party David Cameron has attacked Prime Minister Gordon Brown for his government's failure to tackle unemployment. "There's only one person we want to put on the unemployment register and that's the Prime Minister," Cameron told the House of Commons. Prime Minister's question time on Wednesday was a hot tub when Cameron accused Brown of lack of action on unemployment, saying the government 'will do absolutely nothing about it'. The ruling Labor Party and the opposition Tories are under immense pressure to provide measures to balance government spending and public debts. Lord Mandelson had earlier urged shadow chancellor George Osborne to take back 'deliberately untrue' allegations regarding the lack of full access to government's public spending data. Tories accuse the government of refusing to review public spending plans, saying Brown's cabinet doesn't want the public to learn about the policies taken during the recession. Liberal Democrats' leader Nick Clegg said the two major parties were avoiding the reality, calling Wednesday's debate 'bogus'.
