Iran: Israel Weaker Than Ever

TEHRAN (FNA)- Israel is weaker than ever while its criminal nature has also been disclosed to the world public opinion, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said in a meeting here Wednesday with Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ramadan Abdullah.

At the meeting, Jalili described victory of Islamic resistance against Israel as a great success, and laid emphasis on the reconstruction of Gaza and integration of the Palestinians against the Zionist regime. Abdullah, for his part, lauded Islamic Republic's support for the Palestinian people, specially during the recent Israeli assault on Gaza. "The Zionist regime had several premeditated goals for its assault on Gaza but due to public and Islamic resistance in Gaza, not only it couldn't attain its predetermined goals but also the onslaught on Gaza caused awakening of the Muslim and Arab nations and even the world public opinion as well as their support (for the Palestinians) against the Zionist regime," he added. Abdullah also reiterated the importance of Palestinians' readiness for fighting against Zionists' plots.
